Ok listen - it's worth it 100% if you use it responsibly. I am an employee and have the UltaMate Rewards MasterCard. I use the card for my daily expenses that I have already budgeted for, as well as any Ulta shopping, and have auto-pay set up to pay my full statement balance each month.
Free points every month. If you shop at ulta a lot it’s worth it, if not than you can find a better card. If you spend a lot, then yeah it's worth it, otherwise no. id look up credit card in this sub & see the issues people have had. You do get extra points for having and using it.

Credit card companies come up with the minimum payment dollar amount by calculating what it would take to pay off in 3 years. In short, whatever your total minimum amount is, if you only pay the minimum, it will take 3 years to pay it off, and by doing it that way, you will pay hundreds of extra dollars (even thousands) in interest.
I spend roughly $35,000 per year on my credit cards (and pay off!!!). If I did this at ulta for the 2% I would receive about $700 in ulta rewards for the year. However, across all my other credit cards I average about 3.7% which is $1,295. That’s just my cashback and not travel rewards.

Ultra also blocked me from making online purchases. I called and they said it was due to a disputed charge from Sept 2021; however I did not make the purchase and Ulta confirmed they had no record of the purchase as well. So frustrating. I also noticed that their was a dash next to my shipping address.
Don’t cancel it. Instead, don’t use it. The more available credit and zero balances you have on cards, the better. Don’t open any more anytime soon. Hard inquiries on your credit hurts your credit in the short term, but the additional credit helps in the long run. 3.
I will say I love my Ulta credit card because as a diamond member I get 3 points per dollar so it kind of a no brainer. I'm going to spend the money anyway so I might as well put it on my Ulta credit card and get 3 times the points! I can then take the money I was going to pay with and apply it to the credit card.
