Kottayam ( IPA: [koːʈːɐjɐm] ⓘ) is one of 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala. Kottayam district comprises six municipal towns: Kottayam, Changanassery, Pala, Erattupetta, Ettumanoor, and Vaikom.
