For all the games below I used the recommended config settings from RPCS3 for each individual game. Games that didn't have recommended config settings I didn't touch at all and just stuck with the default config settings. FINALLY onto the games: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand :Works great. Works great upon booting up.
best games with rpcs3 in overall performance? i think p5, demon souls, folklore and dantes inferno are great pick ups. persona 5 has community reworked textures and more with aemulus package manager. demon souls also has a great community. but i expect a ds remake/master port on pc..im just guessing its possible.
It tells you all about emulation, although this was on series S. Can’t remember if they mentioned ps3 or not. Unfortunately, PS3 emulation is still not very good. The current most popular emulator takes a pretty powerful computer to run. The Series X isn't strong enough. Next generation probably.
In many cases, sure. But a proper emulator should be able to play all the systems games, not be programmed to a specific set of games. So yes, some would make more sense to play on PC. However, many PC games don’t support controllers even if they had console support, so if someone prefers controllers using an emulator may be a better experience.
If you want to dump it using your computer, you need to own a compatible bluray drive (not every pc bluray drive can read ps3 discs) and then you need to decrypt it. The complete guide is here: Dumping Blu-ray disc games. The emulator as all have stated is RPCS3. You should check out their Quickstart page.
To recap, the official recommended minimum is: Intel Skylake 8 core CPU or better (i.e. i5+ 6th Gen) or AMD equivalent (I believe this was the Zen 2) Vulkan GPU (i.e. GTX 900+, RX400+), no mention of any iGPU such as Iris Xe, RDNA2. 8GB RAM (only specifies dual-channel) SSD drive for emulators. I am trying to decide between a) converting a very ...
Nah the miyoo mini plus is much better the .7 in screen difference is a huge deal for ps3 emulation. There is no ps3 emulator for arm so you’re looking at either a steam deck (can do a fair bit of ps3 but not all) or one of the more expensive 6800 u/7840u handhelds. Milo Mini Plus can't run PS3, only PS2.
On the PS3 only 6 SPUs are usable in games, so not "almost twice" but 50% more cores. Also not every game uses 6 cores, in fact only a few do. Most PS3 games run on 4 or 3 threads, with a few even being 2 threaded or single threaded (the latter only some small PSN games, but still).
If you get games from Vimm or the archive.org main file they are in folder format. If you follow the guide on RPCS3s website it will tell you where to put the folders within the folder structure the emulator creates as it mimics the folder structure of the ps3 to run games from.
Ryujinx is a Nintendo Switch Emulator programmed in C#, unlike most emulators that are created with C++ or C. This emulator aims to offer excellent compatibility and performance, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx was created by gdkchan and is available on GitHub under the MIT license.
