Dramatic weight gain among TV actresses is growing more commonplace, it seems. Maybe my memory is faulty, but a handful of years ago I never could have imagined a lead actress putting on as much weight as Emily Deschanel has, for another example. It used to be an actress would start putting on a little weight and then promptly lose it.

I really admired Emily for being more natural. I expect she was nursing her baby so wouldnt want to crash diet. I’m of the opinion that you don’t mention weight gain at all, ever (I gained about 50 pounds in a fairly short time ages ago and I love the people who never gave the slightest hint, ever, that anything changed.
