In short, no. In explanation, apart from no annual fees, free year of pro, 4% points and points never expiring, the card sucks. Can only be used at GameStop, has high interest rate if you don’t pay it back in the first 30 days, only good if you shop with the store often.
Today i received an email that they are changing the card to be called Gamestop Pro Credit Card. it has a new look and gives 4% back in rewards points. They are giving a year of pro rewards for new members too. The new card also has CVV and a rep let me know the max CL is now $6000. AMEX Delta SkyMiles Blue Card: 10K, AMEX Bread Cash Back: 14 ...
Not GameStop but the company that actually manages the credit card, Comenity. If you want to actually benefit from having a credit card, you should get one from a reputable bank with 1% to 2% cash back on every purchase, bonus rewards you will benefit from (usually travel rewards or 3% to 10% cash back on specific purchase categories depending ...
This post sets a bad precedent for customers and the credit card. We aren’t going to be shoving them down customers faces, we aren’t Best Buy, yet. About 5% of customers used a GameStop credit card last year. With the relaunch, the goal is that to organically rise to about 10% of customers buying their stuff at GameStop with the Credit Card.
Called the credit card people, they said there's something wrong on their end with the swipe strip or something or other that's why it's declining in-store. As for online stuff they said that's on GameStop's end, they saw the purchases I tried to make online and told me they went through but GameStop voided them right after, idk why.
I managed to preorder a copy of MGS Delta CE before it sold out, however I went back to check my order details and the last 4 numbers for my payment are not the numbers I entered/numbers on my actual card. If I try and change my payment details, and re-enter it, it displays another random 4 numbers that are not what I entered after saving.
For me, it was a RCA single male to female Y adapter for $2.38. Then select pick-up option and select the gamestop you're going to pick it up at (so there is no delivery fee). With both that RCA adapter and your Steam Card in your cart, put in in the gift card info. Put in your payment method for the $2.38, and just buy.
Meaning you get 2% for being a pro member and 2% for having a credit card. If you don't have pro, it's only 2% for CC. If you have pro, you can get any other 2% (or higher) card and get cash back on your whole purchase (since the gamestop CC excludes gift cards, taxes, pre-ordering, pro membership) and get the 2% gamestop points for the pro.
HERE’S THE ANSWER. TRADE IN CREDIT: If you are trading something in, you may use the store credit THAT SAME TRANSACTION to get a gift card. ONCE THAT CREDIT IS ON A TRADE CARD, YOU MAY NOT USE IT TO BUY A GIFT CARD. This is the only way I have SEEN this work. 9.
For eventual assistance, please call Gamestop at (800)883-8895. MembersOnline. •. Appropriate_Gene_670. ADMIN MOD. Yeah, I’m not pitching a Gamestop Credit Card. Vent/Rant. Stupid idea that I can’t believe they brought back. And my DM can go fuck himself if he thinks I’m going to actually try.
