I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 installed on my PC and recently I got a notification saying Windows Defender needs to scan my PC. When I opened Windows Defender I saw that it's real-time protection is on.
In reply to chhun_tyty's post on August 6, 2015. After the upgrade of Windows 10 Kasperesky is still there but operating with some issues (you'll see the icon fading or trying to load on the tray). To not loose the kaspersky activation the best you can do is to upgrade the version to KIS2016. Report abuse.
Here is the screenshot of the message I received: After typing "Kaspersky" in the Search area and eliminating all of the folders it pointed to and then retrying the install I was still receiving that message. Windows 10 now contains a full and competent Security Suite . . . Windows Defender has, over the last few years become a fully featured Security solution. Hi Michael. Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu) 1. Go to Apps. At the top of that page, is there a drop-down to choose where you want to install software form, and is that set to 'Everywhere'? 2. In the Settings App, go to Home - Update and Security - Activation.
Two or more anti-virus programs can slow you down, and cause problems as they conflict with each other. For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you are willing to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one of the following three: Avira Avast Microsoft Security Essentials. You also need anti-spyware software.

I uninstalled Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 by using the Kaspersky removal tool. It continually runs and does not stop--even after 2-3 hours. I called Kaspersky support and they say I have a 'windows' problem. I have no idea what I need to try to do to windows 7. Also lately while on the internet, if I have several tabs open simultaneously, the whole computer sometimes freezes or will 'not respond'.
