So the rumor is that the PS5 Pro is coming out later this year. If true, I'm planning to trade-in my current PS5 to offset the cost. My concern is that the PS5 trade in value might depreciate moderately when the new console comes out. Currently, the PS5 has a trade-in value of $357.50 for Pro Users plus an extra $50 as far as a promotion.
If you go to most retail/online outlets, right now, you can’t get a PS5. You can when Direct/Gamestop/GAME/etc get new stock which is happening a lot more often than when the console was first released. But it is not as easy to get as the vast majority of consumer goods are, which is go to a store/online outlet and buy the thing.
PS5 Gamestop pre order I was lucky enough to pre order a ps5 bundle at gamestop earlier today. On twitter, wario64 said that you would be able to pick up the console within a week after launch day. However, when arriving to the store they said it won't be out until December 12, a full month from launch day.
GAMESTOP will be having a PS5 restock on 7/16. the day AFTER God of War Ragnarok for up for pre-order. Supposedly all editions of GOWR will be available to reserve 7/15 in store. Trade in PS5 process. I have heard people say don't reset the console to factory settings before trading it in because they need to test it, and they will reset it after you trade it in. I just bought a PS5 disc certified pre owned from GameStop. I got Hogwarts deluxe edition and snow runner game with it both used games. I paid 602.00 for everything I got a pro account from GameStop and I got a one year warranty from GameStop. So if anything goes wrong it's replaced by GameStop for a year. That being said, my console has been shutting off/crashing a lot lately (likely due to overheating). I know GameStop will take broken consoles but how much will they take off the trade value for my broken console? I just want to see if it's worth the time to even bring in. Refurb fee on a digital ps5 is $110.
