I tried to set up my Suddenlink.net email account on Outlook on my new computer. with MS 365. I am currently receiving email in Outlook, but I cannot send email. Settings are imap.suddenlink.net:993:1 and smpt.suddenlink.net:465:1.
Fast forward to this past weekend where my service was interrupting frequently and dropping to 0.04Mbps-0.8Mbps. Took the Arris in, replaced it, get home and find that mso/suddenlink is being flagged as incorrect login, and cusadmin/password gives me the time honored greyed out SSID/password changing.
Login is at the top left. First time signing in, it is the same login details you've used before. IF you haven't been requested to updated your login details on Suddenlink.net in the last month, there's a good chance you'll have to create a new account, you will need to know your Suddenlink/Optimum account number, listed on your paper/PDF bills.

Need help setting up my present suddenlink.net email address in outlook. Would appreciate a step by step explanation.

Once logged in, HBO realized there WAS an account under my primary email address and it sent me a one time code. Once that happened I was able to link the two accounts. TLDR; chat with Suddenlink and that solved the problem for me.
Does Suddenlink do this to keep you from messing it up or is there some other default username/password i'm not getting? I entered the IP 192.168.0.1 and it took me to the login page but the defaults I looked up don't work. Is that just permanently pre-configured and locked by Suddenlink or do they have their own defaults or something?
I have windows 10 and can't figure out how to sync the accounts
On suddenlink's website I would login with just simple username that was my email alias, not with @suddenlink.net suffix, and I could click on the webmail link and it would pull up my inbox, etc.
IT guy here, not associated with Suddenlink. I've got far too many hours of doing support for my clients who need someone that isn't Suddenlink to deal with Suddenlink for them. The modem router combo Ubee modems are hard locked down. I haven't touched one myself, so my info is based off of what I've seen on here. You cannot change your wifi ...
