I trying to download Java edition of minecraft to my windows 11 system. I have been able to download Bedrock Edition, but in the minecraft launcher the Java Edition still says "Buy Now". It was purchased as a bundle of both editions. Do I have to uninstall Bedrock to install Java?
Pretty self explanatory. I can't seem to download Java edition for Windows 11. The Minecraft launcher just says it has trouble reaching the Minecraft store, and to continue there. Then I want to download the launcher there, but all it does is say it's pending, but never actually changes.

had to reinstall windows 10 because my computer was running so slow for some reason. Now it's fine, but will not let me install Java, and I have program that I need that uses Java.

However, I had recently tried reinstalling one of my .jar-associated programs (Minecraft), and upon installation, Runtime for Java was installed in the Minecraft folder (in Program Files (x86)). However, I'm unable to use any other Java-related programs, and whenever I attempt to, it opens cmd.exe for a split second and closes it, doing nothing.
There's nothing special about Windows 10 and the Java Runtime Environment.... it installs just fine. For example, I just installed JRE 8.191 on my Win 10 1809 PC
