On another note, It is kind of confusing that PayPal owns Venmo but yet the two financial services are not synced for ease of use. Venmo was created to send money between venmo users. Not for Venmo to random friends bank account or PayPal etc. Just venmo to venmo. They should be compatible since PayPal owns both but so far as far as I can tell if you have both you can send money from PayPal to your own venmo.
