He was a member of the FCSAA All-Academic Team and Dean's List. During his sophomore season in 2016, he made 14 appearances and posted a 1-2 record with a 4.05 ERA. He ranked 2nd on the team with 80.0 IP and struck out a team-leading 69 batters. After his first two seasons, he transferred to Florida Gulf Coast University.
