After sending me ANOTHER TV adapter vs a TV box I was told until they got 1 of the TV adapters back they couldn't send the correct thing, a TV box. I finally packed up the 2 TV adapters, 1 TV Box and Modem and had someone drive me to the closest Xfinity Store (about 45 minutes away-broken leg so couldn't drive myself).

1 year ago. @rufus97. Thank you for posting your questions here in our Xfinity Forum. As mentioned by @XfinityJennifer you are not required to update your television when you update your television box. The equipment you receive will have the connections for both HD and SD services.

874 Messages. That's a great question @sandy100090. We can still issue those old style DTA boxes, but we no longer offer a discount on them. The price will be the same as the newer boxes monthly. I have ordered them for customers that have TV's that do not support HDMI (not very common anymore).
Turn on your TV. Press and hold Setup until the light at the top of the remote changes from red to green. Enter 9-9-1. The light should flash green twice. Keep pressing CH ^ until the TV turns off. Once the TV turns off, press Setup to lock in the code. Press the TV power button on the remote.
