UBA is both handicap and scratch. They base their handicaps on 90% of 230. Most higher average bowlers enter the scratch tourny, or both handicap and scratch. I can't give you a total number of participants, but lots of guys entered two or three squads; some just to play brackets, others to keep trying to make the semis.
There will be a $8,000 UBA tournament Labor Day weekend at Boardwalk Bowl in Orlando. Bowl Florida usually runs a tournament that weekend in the $6-8,000 range as well and about 4-5 miles apart. Great chance to hit both as their semi finals are scheduled to be able to do both.
UBA Memorial Weekend Tounament $12,000 If you're in the Orlando area this weekend, swing into boardwalk bowl and throw a squad or two to try qualifying to bowl for the $12,000 guaranteed first place.

This weekend is the UBA $7,000/$1,500 4th of July tournament. This tournament uses a modified PBA Chameleon pattern which measures 43 feet in length.

I generally hear alot from people " you have to get it out more"....thats when in my head im like DUH but i physically cant seem to get it out lol .....Help please! when i get back to bowling hopefully soon i will be bowling a big event in the UBA (underground bowling association).
