    Facts & Statistics. Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASD) & Prevalence. The prevalence of autism is estimated at 1 in 44 births nationwide and 40 in Arizona. About 1 in 6 (17%) children aged 3–17 years were diagnosed with a developmental disability, as reported by parents, during a study period of 2009-2017. (1)

    Families and individuals affected by autism are able to access Respite Care and Participant Assistance & Care (PAC) services through ASI in all 92 counties in Indiana. Respite Care and PAC services can be accessed through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver.

    This support group is open to all caregivers of persons living with Autism with a focus on sharing resources, offering support, and building community. Sessions run in 8–10-week cycles offered quarterly. Sessions are general, while others may focus on a specific topic or group/age.
