Thank you. I tried that and set both to allow, thought this must have solved it so tried a test live with a friend. She could hear me but my camera didn't come on. I restarted my laptop in case that made a difference and my friend then initiated a live, again camera didn't come on, but this time she couldn't hear me either!

Windows. /. Windows 10. /. Devices and drivers. I have a new PC with windows 10 installed. I can hear sound if I'm online like YouTube. I can't get sound from Facebook live streaming. Also movies I have on a USB there is no sound when I play them.
Microsoft Edge and Facebook live stream saved videos. In the last two weeks when accessing a video saved by facebook after the live stream has ended I cannot get any sound out of it. Other old videos embedded in the timeline work fine. If I use Google Chrome or Firefox the audio on the same live stream saved video is OK.
From my tests and further research, streaming live events directly to other social media is unfeasible at this moment. Because the live event feature in Teams is integrated with Microsoft Stream, but live events hasn't been available in Stream yet. Try to launch an InPrivate Window in Edge by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N and try to see if you would have the same issue there with Facebook Live. Hi Antony Jose, thank you for your response. 1. Acer Aspire E1-472G. 2. I think the problem is in the laptop using the Facebook app. Because my webcam function well using the Camera app in Windows 10 and it is already updated. The camera is also functioning well in other apps like Skype.
