I searched and saw a message from 2015 with this answer "1) The label orientation can be changed between Portrait and Landscape by using the Label View option under the Document Properties tab within Maestro Label Designer. This keeps all of the borders selected and not the text. While continuing to hold the mouse button down, release ctrl A buttons.
To enable the safe zone you'll need to click on "View" and then toggle on the "Show bleed and safe zone" selection within that menu. Once enabled, you'll notice a dotted gray line within the label cell. If you have any text or design elements beyond that dotted gray line, you should try to bring them in closer to the center of the label.

Create a New Design that has nothing in it (blank). Then go back to the Page View tab and hit Edit Layout. From there, it will allow you to select the labels in which you want to apply the New Design (blank). Apply the blank label design to all the areas that you want blank. I hope this helps.
