Mission Hills High School is one of the newer high schools in San Diego County and opened in August, 2004. It is nestled amongst the hills in the beautiful and fast-growing City of San Marcos, approximately thirty miles north of downtown San Diego.

The English Learner Advisory Committee is a group made up of parents, guardians and community members. ELAC meets six times during the school year and it's a great opportunity for parents and guardians of students who are learning the language to learn about the education of their students.
