    Those parts will work fine together. 5600x and B550 is a great combo. You might consider upping your RAM speed to DDR4-3600, CL 16. 3200 isnt bad, but not the perfect pairing.

    Im building a new $1,000 PC Build for VR gaming, and PCPartpicker is giving my an incompatibility warning when I try to pair the Ryzen 5 3600x CPU and the MSI B450 Tomahawk. I know these parts are compatible, I see several people with builds pairing these 2 parts.

    PCPartPicker checks compatibility, be it for the cpu, motherboard, RAM, USB headers between the case and motherboard, and drive bays for the case. It also tells you if there is something you should know about, for example, a BIOS version warning like for ryzen 5000 series, or when using an m.2 SSD could cover some SATA headers.
