  4. low voltage DC wire colours - All About Circuits

    forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/low-voltage-dc-wire-colours.193842

There are standards for DC color codes but not for voltages, per se. For example the codes specified by the NEC and IEC are these: If I was going to color code based on voltage I would choose one of the standard and use a two-color wire that was mostly the L+ color but included stripes of some other color to distinguish.

  6. Number of Solar Panels to power a Level-2 EV charger?

    forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/number-of-solar-panels-to-power-a-level-2...

So, basically, each panel is producing about 1KWh per day. So if you want to power 20 chargers, with each providing 10 hours of charging per day at 9.2KW you will need: 9.2 x 20 x 10 or 1840 panels. And a ridiculous amount of battery storage. The cost would be in the 10’s of millions of dollars.

Sep 17, 2024. #1. Dear Friends, I want to thank all of you in advance, I had a charger for the batteries of the portable Motorola (walky-Talky ) Model IMPRES. I attached two pictures for the SMD part with the marking code (8A), when I searched for it online they said it is an NPN transistor ( unfortunately ) it is not.

It provides you a serial interface using the ELM327 command set and supports all major OBD-II standards such as CAN and JBUS [...] STN1110 is an OBD to UART interpreter that can be used to convert messages between any of the OBD-II protocols currently in use, and UART. It is fully compatible with the de facto industry standard ELM327 command set.

  9. What is the safety factor of current selection for any electrical...

Joined Oct 15, 2009. 5,394. Nov 6, 2012. #2. All depends on the electrical system/certifications/standards for that system.. Some may require more for "safety critical" systems. N+1 redundancy,etc.. In general though 125% of the maximum current rating is sufficient for hobbiest/consumer level products. So 12.5A for a 10A max draw.

  10. ADDWF instruction in pic microcontroller | All About Circuits

    forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/addwf-instruction-in-pic-microcontroller.198053

Dec 23, 2023. #2. ADDWF looks at the value (bit) in the second argument. Note that it only checks 0 or 1, meaning it probably only checks low bit of "d". Your W has 22 in it, meaning the 0 bit is zero, so addition is stored back in W". The second argement is a flag only, you should not be using "W" there.

  11. Serial Cable Color Code - All About Circuits

    forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/serial-cable-color-code.4980

The internal wiring color is uncontrolled. You need to go from the connector pins to each wire to correctly identify the function. On second look, the colors do seem to go with the pin numbers. Brown should be pin 1, white should be 9, and the others follow standard color code. P.
