Mar 26, 2012 at 10:36. I myself am struggeling with 500px. All my super fine sharp photographs turn out horrible. Tried everything, 900px tall or 880px wide. Now im uploading a 20mb photo to see if it makes a difference. But i get such crappy quality, this isnt fun anymore!!
1. I have been using 500px quite extensively in the past, but I haven't used it in the recent years. I used to be able to export to 500px directly from Lightroom classic, but things seem to have changed: On the 500px support page it says that the export plugin has been discontinued. Now I wonder why that is?

For example, if you want to see images taken with the Canon EF 135mm f/2 L lens, just go to Flickr, type in "EF 135mm f/2 L" in the search box in the upper right hand corner of their main page, select "Photos" from the dropdown menu, and ...

Is it possible to add visible/invisible watermark to photos already uploaded to Picasa Web/500px/Flickr? Do they preserve EXIF(metadata) of the image? I am looking for free tools/services. Started using 500px now I'm and so find myself thinking about the same issue. Found the advice to just uplaod the full size. Images would apparently be viewed at 900 pixel long side but would then be available directly for the buy print option.
Both 800 and 1024 are more than 500. You need to scale it down even more. @stativ - I thought 500 was a MINIMUM ? I understand 500 px on the longest side as maximum 500 px. It doesn't make sense to me require 500 px on the longest side as minimum, because then the image of 1x600 px would still fullfill the requirement.
