37 posts · Joined 2009. #15 · May 26, 2009. I just got a quote from the LineX dealer in Virginia Beach, they said it would be $675 plus $55/hr if anything needed to removed the jeep such as center console, soft top, etc. They also charge $75 to prime it first.
I don't know about Rhino but LineX and Kevlar are actual paint systems. They are not bed liners. I know with Kevlar the colors are endless though it is still a mat finish. It is about a 3 week process to do it right as they sand down to bare metal before it is applied. Cost is around $5000 and it will last a life time.
247 posts · Joined 2016. #15 · Jan 20, 2017. Just got a quote from East Coast Gear for around $1600 (OTD), with about half of it as the labor, to change from a 3.73 to 4.56 on my 2014 Sahara JKU. Rep recommended Motive over G2 because he said the latter were noisier.
Nvhunter. 253 posts · Joined 2013. #6 · May 19, 2014. I current have a 2" rubicon express budget boost. It came with 2" spacers and new shocks. The kit was $229 and the install cost was about $200. But after looking at how it's done I should have saved the $200 and just done it myself. A spacer lift isn't difficult to install as far as I know.
The place I have it done does industrial and marine powder coating. All parts, even brand new are sandblasted, cleaned, primed and then powder coated. Cost is $300 a bumper and that was 3 years ago. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
Received the itemized quote this morning. 2 Cams: $1104. 12 lifters: $492. 12 Rockers: $352. Gaskets: $460. Spark Plugs: $160. Labor 12hrs: $2620. If I opted to replace the lifters and rockers on the drivers side as well then double parts cost for Cams rockers and lifters and add 3hrs of labor at $220/hr.
This is true for the SEMA show builders for people with more money than brains that end up with $100K Wranglers. Most people spend around $3-$5K for LS-1 swap using used motor. Add $4K for a crate motor. For $25K (and the cost of a TJ) I'd be buying a 1st Gen Bronco, an LR Defender, or the nicest V8 CJ-7 around.

Work included reboring and a block resurfacing and the bill was $1386.80. $105 was valve work which apparently you would not need so $1281.80 was that total and it was a 4 cylinder. Parts were $643.19 and labor was $701.96 with $41.65 tax. Apparently the owner pulled and carried in the engine and picked it up when it was done.
