Just took the Offical AAMC Sample Test and having trouble finding a conversion chart that is the closest to accurate. Does anyone have a link or know where I can find one? Urgent! My test is next week!
A. Apr 7, 2017. #4. I never took the AAMC FL but I took about 2-3 Next Step exams (which are "supposed" to be harder than the real thing) and got 504 on average. When I took the actual Mcat I got 493 on the real thing . I was so angry for feeling deceived. I didn't take the actual Mcat any differently.

I just took the AAMC Sample Test (as my first FL ever) and got this: I used an online calculator found on Reddit. Take this score with a grain of salt.. AAMC FL 1 and 2 will be the best prediction I believe. (127/125/126/128) 506.

AAMC practice materials are the closest to the real deal by far. You are better off doing them a second time than materials from anywhere else.
1) Compare your percentage correct on the AAMC FL to the old subscale conversion sheet. 2) Determine your approximated 2015 subscores for the first three sections using the second spreadsheet. 3) Determine your approximated Psych/Soc subscore using the 2015 Biological and Biochemical Foundations or CARS score conversion chart.

This means going over all the answers you get correct and incorrect. So spending 1 week for 1 practice test sounds like the right strategy that you have. Honestly I think you have all the practice you need, but if you do not score well on those practice test you may want to push the test back and purchase something like UWorld.
