Simply reserve a midsize or fullsize car, bypass the counter, choose your car and pay only the reserved midsize rate. Every time you rent from the Executive Selection, you receive an upgrade. As an Emerald Club Executive member, you always pay for one car class less than reserved when you book a fullsize through luxury car.

Answer is: the green bar highlighting "click here for emerald aisle" is priced a few dollars higher because it defaults to a full-size. It still charges you for a mid-size at checkout. Turns out out it's just National trying to do Executives a solid by reserving a class higher just in case the aisle is empty. Reply.
Yes, in the Emerald aisle, you can select any car and you will be charged for a midsize. No, Emerald Executive is a separate section for Emerald Executive members. The vehicles are supposed to be newer and/or less miles. However if your status is Emerald Exec, then yes, you can select an Emerald Exec car for the price of a mid-size.
