The Intel Driver and Support Assistant tells me I have an update available for my Network Adapter, so I asked it to install it (see attachment 1). The install process tells me that "No Network Connections found" and fails. I tried it a number of times after restarting my desktop (see attachment 2) but no go.

The answer is because there was a bug in the 7260/3160 driver/firmware that made it incompatible with WiFi 6 Routers. In the final release of the driver before these adapters were discontinued, a fix for this bug was released. Thus, you need to have this particular driver release in order to get the fix the issue.

Came across this issue today, it's super obnoxious that Intel has removed the drivers for EOL products. The Wireless-N 7260 card was used in the DN2820FY NUC; the drivers for the Wireless-N and Wireless-AC cards are identical.
