It takes place every fall at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center for the Arts in San Francisco's Marina district. The SFFAS was founded in 1982 by Toby Rose and Nancee Erickson as the major fundraising event for the non-profit Enterprise for High School Students. The Show was managed by founder Toby Rose until 2006.
The Magic Theatre is a theatre company founded in 1967, presently based at the historic Fort Mason Center on San Francisco's northern waterfront.
