Howard Alan Kurtz ( / kɜːrts /; born August 1, 1953) is an American journalist and author and host of Media Buzz on Fox News. He is the former media writer for The Washington Post and the former Washington bureau chief for The Daily Beast. He has written five books about the media.
Media Buzz (stylized #mediabuzz) is an hour-long news media criticism program hosted by Howard Kurtz. The show airs live on Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM and generally discusses politics and pop culture issues from a moderate perspective. The show replaces the similarly themed Fox News Watch, the last edition of which aired on August 31, 2013.
