Attempted to update to 6.7210 via wired internet connection a few days ago and noticed that once the download was complete and the tv began the update process, as soon as the progress bar filled up the screen went black, the Sony logo appears briefly then blinks off again, then finally the update progress bar re-appears and begins to fill.
a7IV Firmware update failed. I tried updating the firmware on my a7IV, but I am getting five long flashes followed by six short flashes. According to Sony's site: If the access lamp repeats 5 long blinks (0.5sec. cycle) and 6 short blinks (0.25sec. cycle), the system software may not have been copied correctly to the memory card.
