This is a list of the revenue divisions and taluks of Tamil Nadu, a southern state of India.These administrative units are classified based on the district. There are 38 districts in Tamil Nadu, and for revenue administration purposes, each district is divided into divisions, headed by a Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), which are further divided into taluks.
Pallavaram taluk. Pallavaram taluk is a taluk in Greater Chennai City, formed from the bifurcation of Alandur taluk in 2015. It also included some areas from Sriperumbudur Taluk. Its headquarters are in the town of Pallavaram near Pallavaram–Thuraipakkam Radial Road. It comes under Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA).

These panchayat unions have a set of panchayat villages under them. In urban areas, the governance is done by municipal corporations, municipalities or town panchayats based on the size of the town. Ambattur taluk. Coordinates: 13.101465°N 80.158997°E. Ambattur taluk is a taluk of Chennai district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its headquarters are the neighbourhood of Ambattur. This taluk was created from a division of Ponneri taluk, Tiruvallur district. On 4 January 2018, Chennai district was expanded by annexing Ambattur taluk. [1]

The south region is a part of Kathivakkam revenue village in Tiruvottiyur taluk of Chennai district. The completely industrialized north region is governed by Athipattu village panchayat in Minjur revenue block.
