Add a Comment. Bitter-Ask-6497. • 3 yr. ago. Booking through third parties like Priceline will generate a confirmation number that only works for the third party. I would call the hotel you booked to confirm that they got your reservation and ask them for the actual confirmation number. For Hilton that will typically be a 8-digit number. 9 ...
The hotel where you’re booked will need to add your Honors profile to your hotels.com booking then the res should show in the Hilton Honors app, then proceed as normal. You will still not get any Honors benefits but you can now use digital key, this is as of the beginning of November iirc. Some properties will not give you points booking ...
It happens sometimes. Luckily it wasn’t an OTA. Some of the properties have different reservation systems since some hotels aren’t owned by Hilton (Curio etc.). If you didn’t book directly through the Hilton website, contact the property direct (and not Hilton reservations) and they’ll tell you the reason why.
Similar to many others, I got lured into buying a Hilton Grand Vacation Package/Sales presentation. It all started when I called the 1-800 Hilton phone number to book a hotel for a wedding in the future. After that call, the rep asked if I’d like to earn 500 Hilton Honors bonus points to be transferred to a sales opportunity.

Include your HHonors number, confirmation number, dates of stay. Indicate that you've been attempting to obtain a receipt to no avail. Include the dates you've made contact, what you ...
As a result, the 10 digit confirmation number is the one Expedia uses to reference the booking. The 8 digit confirmation number still exists, but you would have to call the hotel and have them look up your reservation by name to then find the hotel confirmation number (this is just the simplest way).
I booked a reservation, had a confirmation #, and it even shows up on my Hilton app, but the front desk was not able to find it in their system. They tried searching using my name, confirmation number, corporate travel agency... but nothing. For some odd reason, the confirmation number pulls up some other reservation from 2020 on their system.
Most portal bookings do not qualify for hotel program benefits or earnings, and I expect that that includes the Cap1 portal. You can ask at the time of check-in if you can add your number, but YMMV on whether it is successful (they are not supposed to add it). 4. Award. I just made a Hilton reservation through Cap1's travel portal. There weren ...
Most likely the guest was looking for the free WiFi. In an attempt to locate their hilton profile, the person probably has a similar name to you or someone in your family. Or the desk agent was lazy and chose the closest looking name. Makes sense it’s the same zip code as yours since that’s how most are searched. Name and zip.
