I switched from my well working airpods pro 1 gen with no issues. to these airpods 2 gen, all new, and hey siri doesnt work either. I have tried everything. 1. restartet. 2. deleted old airpods from bluetooth. 3. disconnected and reconnected. 4. disabled all siri settings and enabled them again.

I have found my AirPods Pro are an upgrade in call quality compared to my AirPods 2. This is the result of swapping mid-call and asking: a or b. Callers on the other end reported the AirPods 2 pick up and amplify more ambient noise and echos of my voice. The AirPods Pro reduce both effects significantly.
Just got the update on my AirPods Pro 2, connected to my iPhone 15 on the iOS 18 RC. Hadn't realised that, to use the head shaking thing, you need to have "Announce Notifications" turned on. And to have that turned on, you need to "Allow Siri when locked". Which I don't.
