The St. Regis Toronto. / 43.64972°N 79.38028°W / 43.64972; -79.38028. The St. Regis Toronto is a mixed-use skyscraper located in the downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was built by Markham -based Talon International Development Inc., which is owned by Canadian businessmen Val Levitan and Alex Shnaider.
The misconception was popularized by a 1973 advertising campaign by the St. Regis Paper Company. George Washington Carver was not the inventor of peanut butter. Westbrook Partners sold The St. Regis to Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Co. (ARTIC), a hotel and resort investment company based in Qatar, for an undisclosed sum in July 2015. Included in the purchase was a 22,000 square feet (2,000 m 2), two-story building next to the hotel. ARTIC said that the hotel would continue to be branded a St. Regis.
