One monitor has a maximum resolution of 2560x1440 and the other has 1920x1080. When I connect to both the monitors using HDMI to USB-C hub to USB-C, both the monitors give a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. How can I fix this so that my 2K monitor gives 2K resolutions? When I connect only the 2K monitor, it gives a resolution of 2560x1440.
Depending on the information there, you should be able to search for a Windows 10 driver for your graphics adapter. Install it and display settings should be able to have the full resolution set. The highest resolution on the laptop is 1920x1080. It shows 2 display adapters under Device Manager. Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000. NVIDIA NVS 4200M. I checked to make sure drivers for both are latest. In my task tray I have both Intel graphics and NVIDIA managers. I bought a Dell 27" U2713HM Monitor to use 2560 X 1440 resolution.

I really wouldn’t recommend using a P3421W at 2560x1440 resolution though. Stretching that much would look pretty bad especially if you plan to use this display full-time for things like reading text, in which case your eyes could become strained quickly. I have 4 new S2722DC monitors at my work and can't get them to display at their native resolution of 2560x1440 with some computers. I am using new Optiplex 3090 SFF computers with integrated Intel U630 graphics using DisplayPort to HDMI on the display. Recommended resolution in Windows is 1920x1080 with an option for 2048x1080.
