Louis M. Pearce Jr. (February 17, 1917 – December 26, 2012) was an American businessman and rancher known for leading the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo . Pearce attended the University of Texas at Austin from 1936 to 1939 where he majored in business administration. He was honored by the university in 1990 as a Distinguished Alumni. [2]
