    May 2007. Gm supplier is a good price. Its an easy way for a no haggle deal. The price is about 1% over invoice and here in Iowa its the best deal you will get on an Enclave or an Acadia. We are a middle size dealership and have yet to sell an Acadia for under sticker except for a couple of supplier deals.

    GM has 2 types of discount on its vehicles for its employees. One is called GMO which is the discount an employee gets when they special order their vehicle from the factory through a dealership. The second discount is called GMS and is the discount an employee gets for buying a vehicle out of a dealerships inventory.

    When you get the GM Supplier Discount paperwork, it comes with a couple of examples of GM cars priced at MSRP, then priced with the GM Supplier discount.     I am eligibile to take advantage of the GM supp. discount. The sales price for SAABs under this program "seems" to be about the same as invoice price. OK. Now on the GM supp. website the "discount" for 3500 (on a 9-3) has a notation that says it "represents factory to dealer cash offer which may be passed on.."

    My apologies for using the term GMS for GM supplier discount.. You are correct, that is the stock price for employees, not suppliers. However, my other info is correct.. The GM supplier price is the Edmunds invoice plus $130 for dealer prep. kyfdx
