    EDIT: I missed one step, you have to edit the data in Excel, click on the icon at the top first. In the Insert tab on the right side, click on the Symbol icon. In there choose the Mathematical Operators subset and you'll see the ≤ symbol. Select it and click on the Insert button. Andreas.

    A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I used to use TeX, in which I could do exactly that kind of thing... On screen at high zoom, and when printed, the symbols look the same in shape and weight. They do look slightly different on screen at 100% zoom, but that appears to be a matter of where the lines sit with respect to the screen's pixels.
