Japanese Garden. / 29.71917°N 95.39222°W / 29.71917; -95.39222. Houston 's Japanese Garden is a 5.5-acre (2.2 ha) Japanese garden in Hermann Park, in the U.S. state of Texas. The garden was designed by Tokyo landscape designer Ken Nakajima and opened in 1992.
