The Manila Central Post Office building, the headquarters of the Bureau of Posts, was constructed in its present-day Neo-Classical style in 1926. It was designed by Filipino architect Juan M. Arellano and inaugurated in 1931, but was destroyed during World War II. After the war, the Central Post Office was rebuilt in 1946.
