What channel are you trying to remove the watch history from? For The Roku Channel, you should be able to scroll down to the Continue Watching section > Select the unwanted content > press the * button > Remove from Continue Watching. This should remove the content from the Continue Watching section.
Too Many Ads on History Channel. I was watching a 45 min show on the History Channel and was outraged by the amount of ads. There were approximately 30 ads and disruptive interactive ads. Ditto for me. The History Channel fails to launch/load/start on all three (3) of the Roku devices in my home. It starts to load... and then just returns to the home menu. The History Channel will not start. I have left feedback every time, but that is probably just a waste of time.

I asked the Team member responsible for True History about this. He said that Roku removed True History on Dec. 1. (The response you posted appears to be kind of a generic customer service reply.) At any rate, True History is still available on several other platforms such as Freevee, Tivo+, Vizio, Local Now and others.
