Long and short is the Cheats Database link given by the prompt isn't active anymore. I downloaded DeadSkullzJr's updated database and have it in the appropriate area (PC<DeSmuME<Cheats). However the only file that it will detect, Cheat.dat, prompts me with the window stating the file it detected is "not an R4 cheats database.
I am running windows 10 pro x64 bit, if that could make a difference. I've tried using Source Forge's 5.1.5 dll of lua51.dll, still no dice. I have set the path to the containing folder of lua51.dll. I have put lua51 in the directory of the emulator as well. I have tried many versions of 9.11, 9.12, and 9.7, no dice.

Hello! So I'm trying and mostly succeeding at using samples to play Nintendogs. However I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to load multiple samples?
@AsPoke3172, I don't have problem with that for Desmume-Reloaded if you want to share that ^^ (I had repaired the Wifi code originally for Desmume-Reloaded , one of my projects, according to 0.9.4 Wifi code of StapleButter and adapted it to 0.9.12 code)

I am using V0.9.11 x64 downloaded from the desmume website. The screen is animated. I just tested some more and it seems the saves are just taking a really long time, I went back to it and it was finished, however when I reloaded Platinum it did not load my save. I have checked resource monitor and it does seem to be accessing the following:
