I would like to suggest u following AVs in decreasing order of preference:-. Free:- Kaspersky, Wisevector Stopx, Comodo (not for rookie users), Bitdefender, Avast. Paid:- Kaspersky, F-Secure, GDATA, Comodo (not for rookie users), ESET Smart Security with Cloud Sandbox. Wisevector Stopx is not as well known, but YT channels like Eclypsee Tech ...
I got 2 products that meet all the things you are asking for. Kaspersky free. Bitdefender free. Both Kaspersky and Bitdefender offer high protection. Kaspersky automatically runs a background scan, pausing it when you play games or use fullscreen programs. It resumes the scan when you exit fullscreen or the game.
Norton AntiVirus Plus is what I'm currently using. It have worked best for me so far since I started using it. Reply. InRareForm19_. • 4 days ago. Use Malwarebytes. This is the best one currently available. It's all what you need. Reply.
Despite what people are saying here, Windows Defender is by far not the best free antivirus either in terms of performance or in terms of how it manages resources; it can be a very unnecessary drain. Bitdefender and Kaspersky Free are obviously the best options at the moment. -11. StillABigKid.
av-test.org. Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Avast, windows defender. Kaspersky Free - Probably the best out there, but many are avoiding it because it's Russian software. You should stay away from it if you work for the government (to avoid any risks of whatever people think of).
Microsoft Defender + uBlock Origin on your browser (s) is solid protection for your computer. And unless you think you've been infected with malware or adware, don't bother with Malwarebytes. Windows Defender in Windows 10 is actually fantastic. There are a lot of scammy antivirus offerings out there.
You can still buy Kaspersky everywhere like Amazon, ebay, micro center, etc Geo politics aside Kaspersky is hands down the best n lightest antivirus I have been using in my decades of using a computer. If you look at independent lab reports it performs better than whatever crap Norton and Microsoft makes. Reply reply.
This is for 5 devices. Most companies charge more for just one device. They even do free ransomware remediation if a ransomware does somehow get through. Don't use Kaspersky. I believe that they are malware. I went through a lot when I tried Kaspersky out. I tried most if not all of free virus protection programs. I don't like Avast or AVG either.
Kaspersky and Bitdefender are at the top right now. Kaspersky is slightly better than Bitdefender and takes up less resources and cpu. However Kaspersky i would say is more for tech savvy people who know how to tinker with the settings for best protection. Bitdefender is more for computer illiterate people basically as a install and forget ...
ilike2burn. •. Kaspersky Security Cloud Free is really the only free AV left that I'd recommend (although it was always my top choice, so that's not a bad thing). Bitdefender and Sophos have killed off their free AVs, Avira is a bloatware mess unless you use their AV-only installer that they hide on a repair page, and Avast/AVG were exposed ...
