People keep saying that Elon is great because it has a lower sticker price than most institutions but that’s a sad bottom line. We are dual-income, solidly upper-middle-class, have quite a bit socked away in 529s, and will not qualify for need-based aid . . . but I would still not be ok paying $63k a year tuition/R&B. Yikes.

Elon has become popular in our area of suburban Chicagoland for all the reasons cited above. For a private school, their COA is relatively low at $56K for 2022-23. Higher stat students can get decent merit too. Elon regularly wins awards as the best-run college in the nation, and I understand why.
