Basic Military Training events are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The Airmen’s Run and Coin Ceremony & Retreat are held on Wednesdays at the Pfingston Reception Center, and graduation is on Thursdays at the parade field.
Graduation Parade is almost always on a Thursday*, so if a trainee progresses through training normally (i.e., no delays), their graduation date would be the 7 th Thursday after their arrival. All trainees have the opportunity to mail home a welcome letter from the BMT Commander.
