Tom1 January 16, 2024, 10:50pm #1. I have been wearing hearing aids for about 15 years. I purchased Jabra Enhance Pro 10 (11/2022) from Costco. After 4-5 adjustments I still have a very difficult time understanding speech along with really bad feedback. My last adjustment was 1 week ago and my comprehension is less with much feedback.
I have the KS8 aids which are made by Rexton/Signia. A couple of years ago Consumer Reports used a survey of about 17,000 members to rate hearing aid providers and brands of hearing aids. Costco rated #1 as a provider, and TruHearing was not on the list. The Costco Kirkland Signature hearing aids rated #1 as well. At the time the survey was ...

(I paid those upper prices for hearing aids when I lived out of range of Costco.
A somewhat unique hearing test, more streamlined but effective than the standard one I got both at costco and my prior audi, then the REM portion was great. He took the time to really explain what the data meant and put a strategy together for modifying the gain in certain frequencies to optimize hearing without compression or feedback issues.
A few days ago I had my follow-up 9040 HA follow-up at Costco. I asked the specialist if he knew when Costco would have the 9050 and he said he had no idea and they haven’t been told anything. However, he did know of the 9050. He confirmed I could return the 9040 within the 6 month window and buy the 9050. But he said Costco might have a problem with re-buying the 9040 if I didn’t like the ...
I have been wearing hearing aids for more than ten years due to high-frequency hearing loss, specifically Kirkland KS10s, for the last three years. Lately, I have noticed more difficulty following conversations in meetings when multiple people speak simultaneously. Also, I have a female assistant to whom English is a first language. Her voice isn’t overly soft, but I find her very difficult ...
The gal that programmed my hearing aids wasn’t enthused with the idea. I doubt if she has ever done a remote adjustment. Heck, I not sure any of the fitters at that store have ever done a remote fitting adjustment. With that said, my local Costco is surrounded by other Costco locations within 15 miles.

Absolutely! After paying thousands of dollars at audiologists for some years, I moved, and was then closer to a Costco. What a difference for the better. The Hearing Aid Center at Costco is well known for offering quality (friendly) service, dependable up-to-date, affordable products (3 brands, at present), and free follow-ups on everything.
Both of my parents need hearing aids and luckily their insurance (Aetna) will cover a portion of the cost. If we purchase hearing aids this year, they will be reimbursed $1500 per person no matter where they go. We were looking at Costco’s Kirkland brand that is $1500 for a pair. If we wait a couple of months, next year the benefit changes to $2000 per ear, but hearing aids have to be ...
