All Container Haulers/drivers are required to have a valid TWIC or approved escort (for Breakbulk trucks Only). All Terminal Employees and Labor must have a valid TWIC. All contractors and vendors who visit Ports America Tampa on a regular basis require a TWIC.
The Port of Tampa Container Terminal is Florida’s largest container facility, processing 33 million tons of cargo annually across its expansive 5,000-acre footprint. In houses five gantry cranes, including two Panamax automatic dock cranes, and 66 berths.
Port Tampa Bay’s container volume has increased nearly 30% over the past year, and the port has accommodated this growth thanks to a terminal build-out program, working closely with terminal operator partner Ports America.
