The high school diploma has worked for me everywhere. I think it's pretty decently accepted. It’s accredited but some physical colleges may not take it. Most online colleges will accept it and most employers will. I suggest you call the college you plan to go to and ask them. Im currently enrolled with penn foster.

If you want to attend a local community college I recommend staying in the brick and mortar high school. If you plan to attend an online college with a physical campus then I say choose Penn Foster. With Penn Foster you can graduate faster and start college faster too. Great online colleges would be Southern New Hampshire, WGU, Columbia ...

Penn foster was designed more for the Adults 25 and older who don’t care which college they get into or just want a Highschool diploma opposed to just getting a GED. My Penn Foster High School started sep 27th I am now going to finish on Nov 5th Sunday midnight my last 11 exams left. I love a guarantee finish.
1) is it REGIONALLY accredited. This is crucial. There are two types of accreditation a school can get—regional or national. If a place is only nationally accredited (which sounds good), it’s NOT good. These schools have little oversight and it’s a hallmark of bad schools that they only have national accreditation.
