Orlando Airport Cell Phone Lot. I will be picking up family at MCO (Orlando International Airport). I believe there are 2 cell phone parking lots (lots assigned for those awaiting flight arrivals so you don't have to circle the airport). I'm looking for the best one to wait at for their call that they've landed and have retrieved their luggage.
Directions as shown on the airport website: North Cell Phone Lot is located at 5501 Cargo Road. Exit right off Jeff Fuqua Blvd. onto Cargo Road then right again onto the north exit road ramp. Parking - Orlando International Aiport (MCO) If you have GPS, enter 5501 Cargo Road, Orlando Florida
Thanks: 4,279. Thanked 1,661 Times in 727 Posts. Another option may be the Villages Airport Shuttle for $40 and pick up the person at LSL. I would drive for two or more people but one person..... $40 is cheap when you think about gas, tolls, maybe parking and your time.
When we have picked up friends or family from Orlando, we've always parked in the North Cell Phone Lot, and then go to their arrival/baggage claim terminal when they call. We take the turnpike down to the 528 expressway, and then got off at exit 11 for the airport (Jeff Fuqua Blvd), which is about an hour drive.
Flying into Orlando, is the only airport I've flown into in 30 years, where people "clap" when the airplane lands. If that's not a indication of novice flyers, nothing is. Yesterday, it took me 25 minutes to get from the Orlando "Cell Phone Lot", back to Terminal B. The signage is atrocious. Orland is amateur hour, use Tampa.

The North lot is had a standalone building with rest rooms and arrival/departure displays on the outside of the building. There is a pet area at the far end of the lot and lots of parking.
