    Even with all the steps and sfc, the MSERT scanner still shows the 4 infected files during its scan. I am preparing to attempt the windows creation tool to do the full windows repair and see if that helps. A Local Admin account would be correct if you didn't intend to have a Microsoft Account.

    Access the Malwarebytes settings (gear icon at the top of the window), tab "Account" and click "Disable". After scanning, you can uninstall it. Malwarebytes alone may not be able to detect if it is Adware, so use AdwCleaner as well. It is very effective in removing this type of infection.

    I suspect this is downloading from my OneDrive - and that should be fine. But, what is "DB install scanner?" And, how can I get more information on what exactly is getting downloaded and why?     Note: The screenshot's was taken at the same time that the two infected files were discovered. (appxbundle->CordovaApp.Windows10) as shown in the picture. If you performed the scan with malwarebytes and no virus or malware was detected then your system is clean. The detection made by the Microsoft safety scanner is therefore a false positive.
