Go to settings and account and disconnect. Then reconnect through the main gui screen . After doing that the device should show in the account. There is one thing that I consider a glitch. If for some reason you disconnect again, when you reconnect, the same device will get a duplicate entry and only that one will update.

So I was expecting an email, but this one just looked strange. There were no links or anything and no option to "show content," etc.

my.avast.com, forum.avast.com and feedback.avast.com all use the same accounts from id.avast.com It is possible to merge two accounts - one from previously registered forum (before unification of the account services) and my.avast.com, however it is manual process and I do not think it is worthwhile or an account that has 5 posts and 4 of them are in this thread.
