If the "vast majority" were experiencing the bad service that we hear about in these forums, Hyundai and Kia would have been out of the automobile business long ago. See Suzuki, Daewoo, and many others which have been bought out by others. Jeep, Fiat, Audi, Mini (Cooper), etc.
A complaint to Hyundai is not going to change anything. But again express your concerns with the service manager to find out what the delay is before making official complaints. The dealer here are taking advantage of the law system and for that reason they are relax in providing quality service for there customers.
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my Hyundai HYBRID, which I purchased in 2021. Since acquiring the vehicle, I have encountered numerous issues, including: Three instances of cooling system failures. Two instances of oil leaks. A significant ongoing oil leak.
So here's my saga: attempt 1: Lien release 1 never came for whatever reason attempt 2: went to the wrong address, address on title. I moved and HMF knew it as I updated my billing address and mailing address. In KY, they don't issue a new title if you move in state. attempt 3: received lien release via Fedex.

A case was opened with Hyundai’s complaint department on September 27th 2016, 33 days ago, was completely ignored for over 3 ½ weeks while I repeatedly called in asking for an update until I started threatening to file a complaint with the BBB and call a lawyer, then only received an email saying they were sending an engineer to look at it.

The dealership spent a full year trying to figure out and fix the issue, from replacing the entire head unit, the cluster, the fuse box, tracing wires, etc., and none of it fixed it.
