i dont follow bose, but after some quick googling; the ultra replaces the NCH 700 (Noise cancelling headphone 700); this is their flagship product. it has bluetooth 5.3 (vs only 5.1), and supports few more codecs, and other. the "regular" QC are one step below. bose quietcomfort ultra (released 2023) -- replace NCH 700

Apparently this is Bose SE (Soft enclosure) it's the same as QC45 2023 which has hard enclosure. Costco model is SC (soft cushion) apparently it's QC45 2022, but it's likely the SE model sold only at Costco. On Sony website SE is supposedly "successors" to QC45. I went with SE
